Modern technology is great, isn’t it? There are so many conveniences that make life easier that we can often take for granted the potential problems that the ease of modern life can cause. One simple example of this is suffering from poor indoor air quality. Because of modern technology, we find ourselves spending a lot of time indoors. Unfortunately, it can be difficult to get fresh air inside.
Poor indoor air can be noticed by its’ stale, stuffy, static quality. It can cause some nasty respiratory issues like chest tightness, difficulty breathing, coughing, even itchy eyes. While opening a window can be helpful, it may not always be an option, and it rarely solves the problem permanently. Poor air quality is often caused by some element in the home. Mold can be an especially dangerous contributor, but even more common things like a dirty air conditioner or poorly functioning heating system can harm the air in a home.
